Centre path lights and West bike line

I walk a dog on Grand Boulevard several times a week and I have been puzzled about the new lights and the bike lane on the west side. A friend did some investigating for me and has some answers.  

The lights have been installed along the walking path in the center of the Boulevard. Installation was finished several months ago but they are missing a critical piece of hardware required for turning the lights on. The City has no estimate of when the hardware will arrive.



The bike lane along the west side of Grand Boulevard was opened in the spring. Temporary barricades have closed one lane of traffic. These will be remaining for the foreseeable future. Stay tuned.
